Quiet.Evening.Prayer

This Sunday evening at St Luke's sees the return of 'Listen To The Silence', our monthly service which draws on songs, readings and prayers inspired by the Iona Community. Designed to create a more contemplative space, this 40 minute candle-lit service is rooted in a Celtic spirituality which finds a holy presence in all of creation. If you find life a bit full-on at the moment, if you'd value the chance to bring some people and places to God, if you'd love to find a few moments to be quiet and listen for that still, small voice of calm... put the fourth Sunday evening of the month in your diary.

The Iona Community is a dispersed Christian community which works for peace and social justice in the UK and across the world.

Church Lunch

On the third Sunday of each month we bring along food to share after the service. This offers a great opportunity to meet new people, catch up with old friends and welcome newcomers. All you need to do is contribute some food item - hot or cold, sweet or savoury - and enjoy spending an hour or two with a bunch of beautiful people. Visitors welcome!
